If you are in a creative profession and looking to build your body of work or expand your creative expression, Eramboo Artist Environment has a live-in residential studio space available for stays from one week to six months.

An artist residency allows creative individuals or couples to expand their practice and career.

Eramboo provides an inspirational bushland setting for developing a new work or a site responsive project or to simply to grow creatively. Immerse yourself in a peaceful natural environment where you can truly focus on your work.

A live-in residency is ideal for regional, inter-state or international artists working in all media, writers, musicians, curators, dance or performance artists.

The simple but comfortable studio in Terrey Hills is on the edge of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and 45 minutes to the Sydney CBD. Eramboo is close to the Terrey Hills shopping village and cafes (1.9km). Access to a car is highly recommended, public transport via Terrey Hills, 5 minute drive to Church Point, 15 minute drive to Northern Beaches coastline.

Eramboo Artist Environment provides 6 other non- residential studios and is a hub of creativity for artists offering events, master classes, exhibitions and artist talks to the community.


The residency studio offers:

  • clothes cupboard
  • use of grounds
  • onsite parking
  • basic bedding
  • teaching rooms for hire, to run workshops and classes
  • wifi
  • 24/7 access

Rates start at $210 per week.

Travel costs, food and oher expenses such as art materials or car hire are covered by the resident.
